13 Weeks.........We Have a Peach

This week we have a peach in our fruit basket.

                         

Baby Jones your aunt Chamel loves peaches, so you better watch out.  LoL  Here is a look inside week 13:

       

   

Baby's now the size of a peach!

Your fetus is forming teeth and vocal cords...savor this, their nonfunctional phase. Baby is approaching normal proportions, with his head now only one third the size of his body. And intestines are in the process of moving from the umbilical cord to baby's tummy -- much more convenient.

                                      

   

Pre-Natal Appointment #2 (16 July 2013)

All went well at this appointment.  Dr. Stutes followed up and checked everything from my emergency room visit and she said everything looked PERFECT!!!!!!  Such great news to hear.

Baby Jones at 11 weeks and 2 days:

       

Baby J's heart rate was between 158-160 bpm.  This baby is very active already.  It looked as if he or she was doing aerobics at this appointment.  My baby sister Jasmine pointed out the "Glen Young" nose, which I do have.  ;)

Me and My Uterus.......Week 12

This week my uterus is the size of a small melon

12 Weeks.......Plump Little Plum

This week we have a plum in our fruit basket

Baby Jones at 12 weeks:

  

Growth has been very rapid.  My OB doc let me feel the top of my uterus at my last appointment.  It was very weird for me.  The make up of the human body is amazing.  

This Week's Activity:

Make a baby budget. Sit down with your partner to discuss how you'll handle new-baby expenses — clothes, food, diapers, toys, and gear can add up fast. Brainstorm where you can trim your budget to make room for your baby's needs. Consider making some budget adjustments now, and start banking your savings for your baby.

Announcing the Pregnancy

Thomas and I are planning on announcing the expanding of our family tomorrow after our doctor's appointment.  Here is the image we are using:

Trip to the Emergency Room

Tuesday, July 12, 2013 the Jones family took a trip to the emergency room.  I was cramping a little more than normal and saw bright red blood when I went to use the restroom.  It wasn't enough to soak a pad but we didn't want to take a chance.  We did blood work, urinalysis, and abdominal and vaginal ultrasound.  The doctor and nurses did a thorough checkup.

The staff indicated this will be a big baby or I have the wrong due date.  What do you think?
